This Privacy Policy explains how iWise collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our websites, products, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
1) Scope
This Policy applies to:
iWise websites and web forms
iWise mobile applications (including account features, subscriptions, support, and in-app functionality)
communications with iWise (email, support requests, project briefs)
Product-specific notices: Certain apps or features may include additional privacy notices. If there is any conflict, the product-specific notice will govern for that feature.
2) Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data depending on how you interact with the Services.
A) Identity & Contact Data
Name, email address, phone number (if provided)
Company name, role/title (if provided)
Your messages, briefs, and requests
B) Account & Service Data (if you create an account)
Profile details and preferences you provide
Authentication and session information
Subscription status and entitlements (where applicable)
C) Device & Technical Data
IP address, device type, operating system, browser type
App version, language, timezone, device identifiers
Log files and diagnostic data
Crash reports and performance data
D) Support & Communications
Support tickets, email correspondence, and troubleshooting information you share
Records of your preferences (e.g., communication choices)
E) Payments & Subscriptions (where applicable)
Product/plan type, purchase and renewal status, billing country, transaction identifiers (limited)
We do not collect or store your full payment card details when payments are processed by Apple App Store / Google Play or a third-party payment provider. Card data is handled by the relevant provider under their own policies.
F) User Content (what you submit to the Service)
Text, files, prompts, or other content you choose to submit in an app or through our forms
We process this content only to provide the Service, fulfill your requests, and improve reliability and safety.
Please do not submit sensitive personal data (e.g., health data, biometrics, government IDs) unless the specific feature explicitly requires it.
3) How We Use Personal Data
We use personal data to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and manage access
Deliver features, subscriptions, and entitlements
Communicate with you (support, updates, responding to inquiries)
Monitor performance, debug, prevent crashes, and improve reliability
Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
Send newsletters/marketing communications only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe anytime

6) Mobile App Permissions
Some app features may request device permissions (e.g., notifications, camera, photos, microphone).
Permissions are requested only when needed for a feature.
You can manage or revoke permissions in your device settings.
If you deny a permission, the related feature may not work fully.
Advertising Identifiers / Tracking (if applicable)
We do not use “tracking” for cross-app advertising by default.
If we ever enable advertising tracking (e.g., Apple IDFA), we will request permission via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and comply with applicable laws.
7) How We Share Personal Data
We share personal data only as needed and with appropriate safeguards:
A) Service Providers (Processors)
We may use trusted providers for:
Hosting/cloud infrastructure, databases, CDNs
Email delivery and customer support tools
Analytics, monitoring, and crash reporting (if used)
These providers process data under contractual obligations to protect it and use it only on our instructions.
B) Payment & Subscription Providers
Apple App Store / Google Play (for in-app purchases and subscriptions)
Other payment providers (if used) for processing payments and fraud prevention
C) Legal and Regulatory Disclosures
We may disclose data to authorities, courts, or regulators when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
D) Business Transfers
If iWise is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to safeguards and notices where required.
8) International Data Transfers
Our service providers may store or process data outside Türkiye or outside your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as:
Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent contractual protections
Adequacy decisions (where applicable)
Additional technical and organizational measures suitable to the transfer
9) Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to:
Provide the Services
Meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements
Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
Maintain security and prevent abuse
When retention is no longer necessary, we delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of the data.
10) Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, such as:
Access controls and least-privilege permissions
Encryption in transit (and at rest where appropriate)

Secure development and operational practices
No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data (where applicable)

11A) Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your POLARIS account at any time directly within the application.
To delete your account:
Open the app
Go to the “Me” tab from the bottom menu
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Tap “Delete My Account” under the Security section
Read the warning and confirm “Delete My Account”
On the final confirmation screen, tap “Yes, Delete”
Once completed, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted.
Data Deleted
When an account deletion request is completed, the following data is immediately and permanently removed:
• Profile information (name, surname, birth date, birth place)
• Email address and account credentials
• Personality analysis results and scores
• All chat history and messages
• Custom AI personas created by the user
• Weekly reports and insights
• App settings and preferences
• Conversation memory and summaries
• All locally stored app data
Retention
Account deletion is irreversible.
All personal data is permanently removed from our servers immediately after the deletion request is processed.
No data retention period applies after account deletion.
We do not retain deleted user data, and no user data is shared with third parties after deletion.
12) Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact support@iwise.co and we will take appropriate steps.
13) Third-Party Links
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies.
14) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website/app with a revised effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice as required by law.
